WEBSTER, N.Y. (AP) - A teacher at a school for the deaf was fired after being charged with having inappropriate contact with a 15-year-old girl. 37-year-old Timothy Talbott of Ogden was a coach and physical education teacher at the Rochester School for the Deaf. He faces misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree sexual abuse.

Fifty-seven-year-old Jeffrey Swanner is being held at the Southwestern Regional Jail on a 300-thousand-dollar bond. State Police Trooper R-L Frye of the Logan detachment says the alleged abuse started in 2004 when the victim was 13 years old.
